Welcome to Eurajoki Christian Folk High School

Eurajoki Christian Folk High School is a lively adult education centre in western Finland that trusts in the principles of life long learning and learning by doing.
Our School is a private, statutory adult education institute, which cooperates closely with local adult education institutes, open universities, parishes and local entrepreneurs.


We organize both liberal education and vocational training. There are long courses, which are divided into different study lines lasting from 16 to 36 study weeks and open university courses in humanistic and natural sciences.

The school offers also various short courses lasting from two days to a few weeks. These courses include languages, IT, home economics, music and handicrafts. There are also courses available for mentally handicapped and labour market training for unemployed people. We also work with projects which concern basic adult education, folk high school pedagogy and local culture.

We have around 2000 adult students studying in various courses per year. In our traditional folk high school winter courses there are approximately 200 students.

Our peaceful and traditional folk high school environment with uptodate technology, delicious food and modern dormitory make the stay and study in folk high school the most pleasant time.
